Articles of Association

Recognition of the Foundation’s charitable status was granted by decree on February 27, 1992 (Official Journal of March 4, 1992). This status was subject to composition of an initial donation for the TUCK Foundation, consisting of :

the VERT-MONT castle in Rueil-Malmaison,
a donation from the Institut Français du Pétrole (IFP) and a donation from IFP Training.

A Ministry of the Interior order dated February 18, 2005 approved the amendments made to the Tuck Foundation’s initial articles .

Articles 1 and 2 of the articles of association, which precisely stipulate the Foundation’s purpose and methods, are now as follows :

Article 1

The Foundation known as the TUCK FOUNDATION FOR INTERNATIONAL TRAINING AND RESEARCH IN THE FIELD OF OIL AND ITS DERIVATIVES, founded in 1990, aims to develop international cooperation – particularly Franco-American – for teaching and research in the fields of oil and gas, petrochemicals, engines and related activities, and their environmental impact (pollution control ).

Article 2

The Foundation methods are as follows: publications, lectures and courses, symposia, management or funding of training, research and development establishments in the field of oil and gas, funding of research programs operated by public or private laboratories following calls for proposals, grants, aid, prizes and awards .

By decree of February 27, 1992 :

The Foundation known as the Tuck Foundation for international training and research in the field of oil and its derivatives, whose registered office is at Rueil-Malmaison (Hauts-de-Seine), 10, rue Charles Floquet, is awarded charitable status.

The articles of association (1) of this foundation are approved.
